EXCELLENT Based on 529 reviews Debbie D2. December, 2023.Verified Idyllic tranquil setting Once again we have just spent a few wonderful nights at Llewellins. James and Jo are such fabulous hosts and really go out of their way to ensure your stay is memorable. It’s such a lovely tranquil experience. We love sitting on the patio with a glass of beautiful Margaret River wine, listening to the birds and watching the kangaroos and their joeys laze about on the grass in front of us. You are so close to the beach, cafes, restaurants and magnificent wineries. It has been our favorite place to stay for many years. The rooms are always immaculately presented! Thank you for looking after us James and Jo, we always feel spoilt. Laurelle A14. November, 2023.Verified Beautiful place to enjoy a wine after a day of exploring. Beautiful quiet location away from the busyness of the Margaret River township but close enough to drive to in a few minutes. The beach is even closer. The room was immaculately clean and included touches such as cheese board, wine glasses and locally produced soaps. The outdoor pergola proved to be a spectacular spot for an afternoon wine while watching the kangaroos feed on James’s lawn. Jo and James are wonderful hosts. We joined James on one of his bespoke wine tasting tours and it was the highlight of our trip. His knowledge of wine and the background of each vineyard is amazing. This was a terrific introduction to Western Australia for us! Robbo_from_Sydney11. May, 2023.Verified Divine Margaret River Accomodation We stayed here for 6 nights and it was a delight from start to finish. Our room was wonderfully comfortable and Joanna and James made us feel part of the family throughout our stay. Breakfasts were so tasty and exciting and there was something different everyday. There is a fabulous covered pergola area with BBQ that we could use and it was so nice to sit there and enjoy a glass of wine and some light snacks or a quick BBQ dinner. James was so knowledgeable on the local wineries and his recommendations were the highlight of our tastings. I wouldn't think of staying anywhere else in Margaret River David B8. May, 2023.Verified Peaceful Margaret River Retreat This is one of the, if not the, most relaxing places we have ever stayed. The bush land location, including the local wild life, and the large spacious rooms and bathrooms, make for a very comfortable stay. Joanne and James are more than happy to assist with any issues that may arise. And James' cooked breakfasts are not to be missed. I would not hesitate recommending this guest house. It is the perfect spot for for anyone looking for accommodation in the Margaret River region. WendyWoo64. April, 2023.Verified Perfection So glad we chose Llewellins. James and Jo are perfect hosts and have created such a comfortable and welcoming guest house. Breakfasts are simply gorgeous and are cooked to order. Must mention the delicious muffins served warm every morning - James you’re a star. Our room was very comfortable, tranquil and spotlessly clean. There’s a lovely covered outdoor seating area and bbq which we and our fellow guests all used one evening. Location is perfect, just off the Caves Road and ten minutes max from Margaret River. Can recommend without hesitation. A C23. March, 2023.Verified An excellent, friendly B and B in a great location. We stayed for 3 nights in December, and loved this place. The rooms are comfortable and quiet. The location is fantastic (10 minutes drive from the coast, or from the town of Margaret River) and the hosts are very friendly. Special recognition for James' breakfasts. He puts on a fantastic show - and the breakfast was the best we had during a 5-week trip. We would not hesitate to recommend this B and B. JSx2-201116. March, 2023.Verified Outstanding Guest House in Margaret River We stayed at Llewellin's for three nights in March 2023, whilst visiting the Margaret River area. James and Jo run a real gem of a Guest House, which is conveniently located between Margaret River and Prevelly. We can highly recommend Llewellin's. The welcome was warm, our room was very comfortable with a modern bathroom, and the breakfast was simply gourmet, including a variety of cooked options, and fresh muffins every day. Perhaps what singles Llewellin's out is the wildlife that comes and goes in the garden. Several kangaroos and their joeys happily hopped in and out every evening, and the green parrots were spectacular. We would certainly recommend Llewellin's, and hope to visit again. Jo makes you feel like family every visit and its the little things they do to make your stay effortless , but never is it an inconvenience , they just love looking after people. I can see why its always booked out. On behalf of myself and Kelly thanks Jo and James , in one of our toughest years we walked away smiling. Cant wait until we see you again. Thank You x Robyn T13. September, 2022.Verified The perfect Bed & Breakfast We have just had the pleasure of staying for 3 nights with Jo & James the quintessential hosts of Llewellins Guesthouse in Margaret River! The warm & friendly greeting we received on arrival continued for the duration of our stay! Our room was beautifully presented opening through French doors to a deep verandah with the added advantage of a quiet bush land setting beyond… So relaxing watching the pretty galahs feeding on all the hanging seed trays topped up each morning & afternoon by Jo & James! A special highlight was the family of kangaroos that quietly arrive each afternoon right up to the verandah to be fed by James!! Another highlight was a delicious breakfast of fresh fruits, thick creamy yoghurt, stewed pears & my favourite ….the omlette with Persian feta & bacon.. yum! Highly recommend this outstanding B & B!! 2CDWorld4421. May, 2022.Verified Highly recommended, quiet and peaceful We had a wonderful stay at Llewellin’s. The rooms were very clean and heating was quite adequate. Blankets and duvet were also quite sufficient for the cold winter nights while the heaters in the bathrooms were extremely warming after a shower. Breakfast was extremely sumptuous and there was more than enough muffins for us to have them for tea. However, breakfast itself was huge (fruit, yoghurt, muesli, yummy poached pears, toasts, muffins or croissants and a variety of cooked hot breakfasts) that we often couldn’t even have lunch let alone morning tea. There is a BBQ Weber pit that one could use next to a nice outdoor seating area. Simply wonderful surroundings which is great for nature lovers and bird-watchers. Only 10min to town for dinner.
